ACADEMIC AND NON-FICTION
AUTHORS' ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH AFRICA

PURPOSE : To serve as an association serving
South African academic and non-fiction authors
MEMBERSHIP : (As captured in Operational Interim
Constitution)
  • Ordinary membership shall be open to all
    South African authors of academic and
    non-fiction works in all languages
  • Associate membership shall be open to all
    South African literary groups and/or writers'
    organisations
  • Honorary membership shall be extended to
    individuals subject to Members' approval at
    the Annual General Meeting.

PANSA is a national network of individuals, companies and instItutions that are engaged in the performing arts. PANSA is not a union; it is a national grouping of those who directly or indirectly make their living, or part of it, within the performing arts.

membership application form, and agree to the Code of Conduct and paying the annual membership fee (it varies for students, individuals and organisations), anyone who is eligible may join PANSA. They will be members in the province in which they are located.

The Network for Arts and Culture South Africa (NACSA)

An umbrella body representing all the various disciplines including heritage, film, performing arts, literature, visual arts, community arts
centers, arts administration, festivals and craft.

The primary role of NACSA is to engage with public representatives, relevant government departments, funding agencies and other important stakeholders around issues of policy, funding and strategy that directly affect the arts and culture sector.

TRANSLATORS’ INSTITUTE OF SOUTHERN AFRICA (TISA)


Ilitha Publishers has established the Translators’ Institute of Southern Africa (TISA) as its consulting arm.  TISA consists of a highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and committed staff who provide translation services in South Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in the several languages.
